Happy Friday!
Just a quick update to show you the fox plushie prototype that I received this morning! As you can see in the pictures below, we're making several pattern adjustments to get it juuuuust right. So much heart and soul goes into this process, making sure the nose is upturned just right, the eyes are sleepy and calm, the tail is extra fluffy, the legs have a slight bend at the knees...the result will be a perfect plushie to take home!
✨The blue image is thedesired product shape. The orange sample hasanaccurate colordesign and thedesiredshapeafter adjustments are completed.
✨Plushie cost as an add-on: $16.00, no additional shipping.
✨Current Status: Revising the prototype with pattern adjustments - awaiting revised prototype

We're on the home stretch! And we've hit our final stretch goal!
That means we will ABSOLUTELY have fox plushies available to backers as an add-on!
After hitting the stretch goal and going over the logistics of designing, manufacturing, shipping, and fulfillment, I've got everything ready to make these plushies available as an add-on. I'm anxiously awaiting the sample images of the prototype to share with all of you! I've had the pleasure of designing these plushies myself, and they'll be made by a highly reputable company. I can tell you that these foxies will be aesthetic, comforting, and oh-so-darling! The fox plushie will make a great companion to the book or a fabulous gift for a loved one. There will be no additional shipping charges for these; I can add them into the same box with the rest of your order!
It's important to note that the plushies will only be available here on Kickstarter. I'm only ordering a small quantity for the campaign, and once they're gone, that's it!
As soon as I get the prototype images from the manufacturer, I'll post another update here for all of you. I anticipate seeing them by Friday, and I'll definitely keep you in the loop each step of the way.
In other exciting news, I'm querying publishing agents to begin the process of submitting to traditional publishing houses. Just Like the Moon will be self-published to start, and I have high hopes that a major publisher will pick it up very soon!
Thank you somuch for your support and for helping me launch this book out into the world. 💜 It's humbling to know that this book has been welcomed in so many countries and by so many of you! I'm grateful to all of you! ✨

Crushing our Stretch Goals!

💟Happy Valentine's Day!
Without a doubt, I am feeling the LOVE today! We're absolutely crushing our Stretch Goals with three officially unlocked. I'll be donating 50 copies of Just Like the Moon to local community centers, schools, and libraries! If you have a suggestion where I can donate booksin your home state, please reach out and let me know!
Our fourth and final goal will take us to $9k, and once achieved, everyone who pledged the Full Moon Collection& orders of $35 and up will receive a Fox & Moon Plushie! (These are currently being designed—I'll post pictures when we finalize it!—and they will be sent for production as soon as we reach the final Stretch Goal!)

They're here! And they're so beautiful! The Silver Fox Bracelets & Silver Moon Charm Necklaces have safely arrived at my office. Each item is assembled on a heavy-duty card, plastic slipcover to protect them in transit, and accompanied with a Just Like the Moon surprise. These are truly special! The bracelet is adjustable with a slip-knot, and the necklace chain has several clip-links to adjust the hanging size. (Everyone who pledged the Full Moon Collection will be getting both the necklace and bracelet and everyone who pledged the Crescent Moon Collection will receive the necklace.)
In other great news, we've met 2 of 4 stretch goals already! In addition to the foil stamping on the covers, now, ALL BACKERS are receiving an exclusive 5x7 art print featuring a brand-new illustration by Martith Art! I'll post an update when she's finished creating it. (This print is one-of-a-kind and is not a book illustration. It's exclusive to Kickstarter backers only!)
